Judges Comment: This work is beautifully executed and has a fine attention to detail. We were drawn to the dynamism of the colour, the rhythmic placement of the forms and the generous and open-ended nature of the narratives it suggests.

Artist statement: "Misaligned" delves into the disjointed and fragmented nature of memory, particularly influenced by Aphantasia. This work embodies the struggle to find coherence and unity among moments that remain suspended and isolated. Each form reaches for connection but falls short, symbolising the tension between the desire for clarity and the reality of fragmented recollection.
