MSWPS members are winners at VAS
The Hylton Mackley Artist of the Year for 2025 consisted of thirty finalists.
Of those finalists four are MSWPS members: Lucy Fekete, Gwendoline Krumins, D’Arcy Rouillard and Jenny Scholes.
Another four MSWPS members participated in the VAS Select exhibition: Robyn Pridham, Anne Melloy, Liz Moore Golding and Jo Reitze.
Saturday 6 December was a black tie presentation evening.
What a pleasure to find myself seated at a table with City of Melbourne Councillor Rafael Camillo.
Our members’ artworks were presented to a high standard with Jenny announcing that one of hers sold on the night.
Lucy Fekete and another MSWPS member Maxine Wain received a Signatory Awards.
There was a presentation of a fellowship to Gwendoline Krumins.
Eileen Mackley AM represented Hylton at the event. Sponsored by the Mackley Family, the artists of the year award is named after Hylton Mackley AM (Hon) FVAS, who served as Treasurer from 2016-2023. Working alongside the President at the time, Eileen Mackley AM VAS FVAS.
