Innovative Sculpting using different Resin Techniques
How many different types of resin are available to make artwork? I was very surprised that Dina Goebel explained that there exists a wide variety.
Not able to keep up with the descriptions, I settled into holding each sample as they were passed around the audience, while she introduced each one.
Dina demonstrated the complete process of creating a spider orchid, using resin in different forms. Some of her tools including a UV torch, hairdryer, toothpicks, ready made moulds, her hand-made moulds and great little UV light like we see at creative nail stores.
The detail in creating each component of the orchid became so intriguing that we gathered closer to her table to soak in all the she had to say and show us.
